does anyone know anything about this upper body injury? or when Richards is suppose to come back? or is this a sit out until trade deadline type of injury, as in are they shopping him around? the timing just doesn't seem right.

Hopefully he'll be alright and able to return soon. As i said in the thread i started about his injury, before the hit he was easily on pace to set a career mark for goals in a season (sits at 24, his personal best is 26)...and he was on pace for 92 points, which would not only be a career high (he hit 91 twice previously), but gave him a legitimate shot at breaking Mike Modano's franchise record of 93.
And more importantly, the Stars can't afford to have Richards missing games at this time of year. They have been free falling in recent weeks, and are 0-3 without him, in which they've been outscored 13-5 (and 1/11 on the PP, which Richards runs). |

I think Jamie Benn is also out, great young player for them.
I didn`t realize that Richards best goal out-put was at 26 goals, figured him for at least one 35 goal season.
Apparently he has a concussion. |

was at the Canucks-Stars game last night - the Stars look to be a completely different team without Richards and Benn, those are huge losses for them. They were pretty ineffective rushing into the zone, complete chaos on the PP. If they are going to have any success in the post-season, they absolutely need those two back. |
