| But mine was on Auto-save. Any time I try loading up my Dynasty it keeps going back to "Simulating" and freezes up again. I mean it would really suck if I lose my whole Dynasty out of this... Any other suggestions? |

| I got the version for PCs, but I'm going to buy a controller so it'll be easier to move the players instead of learning all the keystroke combinations. |

Everyone here looks like they play Dynasty Mode so I need to ask. Does it bug you that some owners in the game rather have you place 1st in your division(that is an example) then win the Cup. I forget which season I was in but I came second in the division (4th place) and ended up winning the Cup, but my owner got pissed and said that this was my last chance because I didn't complete his tasks.

The dynasty I am in right now the owner wants me to get 140 pts or more in the season. I might be able to do it but we'll see. One of the other dynastys I started they wanted 160 points which is next to impossible.

| Whenever I create a team..it gives me rediculous goals for dynasty mode. (Like..win the season, the stanley cup, and bring home at least 5 trophies.) Even in the eliteserian I have to win EVERY GAME and be the league champion. Anyone have a way to fix this? It's for the ps2 by the way |

My guess is that you play that on Easy ????? 140 pts thats a lot.

Actually no, buddy, I play on medium skill. I found that there were way toomany goals on easy. If I play on advanced will that help with the ridiculous things my owners want?

I usually play at medium level as well. There is a huge difference between the hard and medium settings.
And the 140 points is not hard to get. Going undefeated in the season is not that challenging either. |

in 2k7 i play on hall of famer and i am still in first by about 12pts i own |

I think I'm doin alright considering i'm not much of a gamer in the first place. This is really the only game I play unless I have a few beers and play ATV Off Road Fury with my buds. 140 is alot for me.

I noticed NHL 2007 puts the umlauts on players' names, like Tjärnqvist and all the -ströms. Interesting...but they don't put the upside-down ^ things on the Czech/Slovak names like Hašek.
They pronounced Lydman's name wrong...it's not "Lidman" it's "Loodman". They messed up other players' names too, but I don't remember which ones. |

I've been playing NHL 2007 all evening...it's such a great game, and very addictive. I'm (obviously) the Sabres, and I just beat the Hurricanes 3-0 avenging an earlier 5-1 loss to them. I sucked in my first game (which was against CAR) beacause I was still getting used to remembering which buttons on the game controller do what. I beat Philly 2-0 and almost beat the Wings but lost in OT.
I'm really glad they don't have the current slug jerseys for the Sabres to wear, they were smart and only offered the old ones. |

I'm playing the World Tournament in addition to the NHL season. I'm Team Russia and so far I lost to Germany (can't believe that) and tied Canada (a good accomplishment). Next up is Sweden and they're going dooooowwwwn!  |

I have it for ps2 and play on difficult on my dynasty and I don't think it is that difficult at all, I win games 9-4 most of the time

They were up 2-0 for awhile, then I got ahead 3-2, then they tied it, then some doofus on their team scored one for me in his own net (I guess the Leafs are good for something  ), then they pulled Raycroft so I scored on their open net making it 5-3. It doesn't happen in the third period for me, it happens all the way through the game. It is easy. No questions about it.
But I find your third period theory to be the opposite. Actually, in shut out situations, the computer finds a way to score in the last minute. And I find in close games, one or two goals, the computer is pretty good in the third period.

That happens to me in my game too. I have NHL 2004. When its tied they always score too. It makes me so mad. |

I played in the world tournament again as Finland, and made it through the preliminary round and the playoffs shutting down greats like the Czech Republic, USA, and Slovakia....and then I lose to Canada in the final game. I was ahead for most of the game but they won it 2-1, so Canada got the cup. I guess this game is realistic... |

| I'm the Sabres (duh), not too far into the season, maybe 10 games or so, top 5 scorers so far are probably Vanek, Numminen, Roy, Briere, and Afinogenov. |
