Hey all,
Welcome to the registration for the 2007 Stanley Cup Playoffs Pickup Hockey Pool, or "scufp" as I'm going to call it for short. I will take as many participants as can participate, but make sure that by signing up for an allotted time, you are committing yourself to being available at that time and for possibly a couple hours afterwards. There are three times to pick from, so hopefully at least one can satisfy everyone. Please note that if you cannot commit, then please do not register, as no one will like someone to slow down the draft. We will only have a couple days to finish them so we will need them to roll as quickly as possible.
Registration will close one week from tonight, Tuesday March 20th at midnight Atlantic time. After then, I will split up the participants so as to create draft groups. After this, more details about the draft will be available.
Upon registering, state at which of the following three times you would like to participate:
(All on Monday, April 9th): 8PM Pacific, 8PM Central or 8PM Atlantic.
I will be the first to register for an 8PM Central draft.

| It's your choice dude, some people live in the Mountain time zone, it doesn't matter. Either you register for what your times would be 5PM, 7PM or 9PM. |

I won't be able to get mine in until approximately 9PM pacific, even though I am in Central. The reason for this is that I work until 11pm central and don't get home 'til about 10 min after 11. If this is still do-able, then thanks, but if not I don't mind sitting out instead of holding everyone up.

I don't think ill be able to be in this one either. I don't want to hold anyone up. Mabye for the people who have difficulty making the times here we could have our own pool when more convenient. Perhaps our draft could start a day before theirs Sun, April 8. By then the we should have a good idea of who is in or out, and we could even run it into the ninth of april, untill we complete our draft. I will start a new topic abiut this, so if intrested post there.

I was going to have this one start then too, but look at the East: There are 7 teams within 7 points of each other (from 7th-13th) and in the West there are 4 teams within one point of each other and for the Northwest, it could mean the difference between either Calgary/Minnesota/Vancouver finishing 3rd, 6th, 7th 8th, not to mention Dallas and SJ who are stuck in the middle too. It will make a difference to me who SJ ends up playing and who the other three end up playing and that will likely only be decided on the last day of the regular season. I'm not shooting down your idea LF101, just defending mine...

Well if you want to find out "who we all got", just read the thread from the beginning. So far we only have 14 participants (4 Pacific, 5 Central, 5 Atlantic). C'mon guys, I was hoping for at least a 6-6-6 ( ). About 5 more hours! |

THG, you can sign up for any of the three, doesn't matter where you live. Whichever time of day would be most convenient for you, sign up for it. |

Well I'm pretty disappointed by the turnout, but that's ok the others are missing out!

Is there anyone that's registered for the Atlantic slot that could possibly do the Pacific one? If so, it would make a 5-5-5 and it would make things so much easier! Here is the Atlantic group:
