Personnaly I think Ohlund, hes always been a top D-man on the team, Bieksa is having a great year, but Ohlund is just so Consitant in his play.

What is the criteria for 'best'? :)

Mitchell is the best defensive Dman..
Bieksa is the best 3-way Dman..
and Salo/Bieksa are very close for best offesive Dman...

Salo for everything he does for the team. ( like blocking shots) Ohlund is close with his consistny and Bieska for being good for what he gets paid. The canucks all arond have awesome defencemen.

I voted for Bieksa he's been doing it all for Vancouver but honourable mention to Willie Mitchell one of the best penalty killers in the league.

Bieksa has to be the best value, but overall, their best d-man is Ohlund.
