Before he got injured, Kopitar was certainly the front-runner in my books.
C'mon guys, a (now 20-game) point streak does not necessarily make a good player great, heck even Huselius had a 14 or 15-gamer. What IS admirable about his success is that he's been carrying Colorado back to within 6 points of a playoff spot (with a game in hand). When a rookie can carry a team like that, it means that he has franchise potential and that he's a big impact player already. THAT is what is truly impressive to me.
To think that Colorado could oust Calgary of the playoffs puts an ear-to-ear smile on my face.

Jordan staal it is pretty good to lead the league in shorthanded goals in your rookie year but if not staal Kopitar he is really good
