Interesting to hear Pat Quinn's comments about the Canucks in the second intermission of tonight's game.
He kept saying "we" when referring to the Canucks, not just when referring to their past, but also when talking about the team today.
Not a big deal, but shouldn't "we" be about who you're working for (and getting paid from) today? I believe that's the Oilers, and speaking of which, when is his contract up with the Oilers? And what exactly did he do for them last season? And how much was/is he being paid?

Pat Quinn was listed as "Senior Advisor to Hockey Operations" last season in Edmonton. However, he was never seen or interviewed last season. He was demoted from his Head Coach position and paid out the year to do nothing. He is done now. He signed a 2 year deal in 2009. I don't know if the rules for coaching is the same as players and he has to wait until July 1st before going somewhere else, but I know he will not be part of the Oilers next season.
As far as his comments use 'we' when talking about Vancouver, he played there, coached there, and was the Pres and GM for a decade. Personally, I would associate him with the Canucks more than any other team.

he was also being asked specifically about the cup run in '94, when he was the coach there. A lot of 'we' for sure, and deservedly so - probably didn't realize he continued to say it, if he did, when referring to the current team |

You talking about the former Leaf coach and GM, Pat Quinn?
