So did the NHL just stop the tape after the sucker punch, and completely miss MIkey Mo taking a clean hit, and then swinging his stick at Tootoo's head?

| I see where you're coming from. It was kinda nonchalant, and b/c Mo's a star they would never do anything unless it was blatant, like Chris Simon blatant. |

The only thing about Modanos slash is though i feel it is worthy of a fine, He totally let up, and didnt hit Tootoo very hard at all.

If you watch Modano, he started that swing with every intention of hurting Tootoo. Fortunatly, he caught himself and pulled it back enough to not do any damage.
However, Novie, I do agree that Modano should be suspended for a blatant stick infraction, bit only a game or two maximum.
These players have got to learn that using your stick, as a weapon either in intent or in effect, is totally unacceptable. |
