I hate his play but Evgeni Nabokov is hilarious. I've watched some videos on YouTube called "SharkByte" which is just a weekly half-hour show where Jamie Baker and Dan Rusanowsky, the Sharks radio broadcasters (also funny guys) interview and talk to Sharks players about random stuff and Nabokov always has some really funny stuff to say. Vesa Toskala is actually pretty funny too.
Non-Sharks, I would have to say AO, Wade Belak and Dany Heatley are all funny guys. The thing I don't like about Sakic is that he sounds like a broken record after every game. I'm not touching his class because there's no questioning it, but he's annoying to listen to sometimes. |

Ovechkin is hilarious. That NHL All-Star commercial was proof enough. There's some other good stuff with AO on YouTube...pretty funny  |

I used to like Iginla. However, ever since his parade of cheap shots and instigated fights with non-fighters in the last couple years, I despise the guy. I used to respect him, but now I loath him. |

Sakic and Yzerman are definitely classy but both can be a little cliche at times. Iginla is a great honest interview and seems very likeable to me. Belak is hilarious and reminds me of a few friends of mine; always making you laugh (but usually at someone else's expense  ) I met Brian Trottier and talked with him several times over an evening and at length. He was an incredibly nice person and was very interesting and seemed genuinely interested in what I had to say (which was very flattering) Definitely a highlight in my life as a humble fan of the NHL game. |

Likeable? Are you tlaking about a likeable person to be friends with or likeable person on the ice? I think Shannahan would be a great person to be friends with in person, he is funny and a good hockey player
