You are so close I will show you waht I have...

Montreal Stanley Cups

AAA 4 (AHA, CHAL)
Victorias 5 (AHA, MHL, CHAL)
Shamrocks 2 (CAHL)
Wanderers 4 (ECAHA, NHA)
Maroons 1 (NHL)
Canadiens (NHL) 24
Canadiens (NHA) 1

Total of 41 Stanley Cups

Note: Note: Before the NHL took over the Cup in 1927 you could defend the cup more than once in season, Montreal won it 25 times during this era, so a total of 48…WOW

Okay all other questions are NHL only...

2.) What are the fewest shutouts (all teams) in one NHL playoff year, and what was the year?

Heh, yeah with it being a challenge cup for several years, the cup was played for a whole lot more often preNHL.

In fact their is currently at least one lawsuit in the works for a non NHL team challenging to play for the cup.

Well the NHL took total control of the Stranley Cup in 1927...I am not sure who could have a court case still in effect...

http://www.post-gazette.com/pg/05061/465116.stm

The long and short of the legal argument is that the trustees violated Lord Stanley's will when they signed the agreement with the NHL in 1947. And that even under the agreement the trustees made with the NHL the cup is to be awarded EVERY year.

Of course this is moot now, as 2005 is come and gone, and the cup was not awarded.

It was in the local papers when the case was launched, and they mentioned that there have been several challenges since the cup was handed over to the professional leagues. All of which have so far failed. I took a brief look for the other challenges online, but didn't turn anything up yet.
