he ocassionally scores on himself, and thus he gives Leafs fans something to focus on apart from the team's 8 points in 9 games.
Actually, per capita, I'd argue Finland produces the best players considering it is such a small, unpopulated nation - although overall we crush them in pure talent.

taking out the instigator rule so the players can play. It would get rid of a lot of the cheap stick work too.

hmmm....good question...if you are talking not in the NHL right now, I'd say Forsberg. If you are talking never been to the show, I'll say John Tavares. He's coming soon, folks.
Some people think 4 on 4 hockey (with goalies, like they do in overtime) is the way to go for the entire game. I believe .........

....that is lunacy. There's nothing fundamentally wrong with the game. Quit trying to change the fundamentals. Maybe something simple like limiting the size of goalie equipment to what it was in the 80's or so and the same for shoulder pads.

hockey wise, it's off the charts. I think MacLean rarely says stuff that doesn't make sense.
The most annoying play by play or commentator is...............

...it's in my blood. I used to watch Hockey Night in Canada while sitting on my dad's back, and I loved hearing Danny Gallivan call out names like Lafleur, Sittler, and Dryden. I've been skating since I could walk (just about), and I've played the game all my life. My favourite smell is sweaty hockey equipment, my favourite food is rink burgers, and my favourite song is "The Hockey Song". I spend 90% of my extra money on hockey related items, and the other 10% is on gas to drive to hockey related items. My best friends are all hockey players, my heroes are all hockey players, and when I get cut, little pucks come out of the wound. The sound of skates gliding on the ice is better than any symphony, and the feeling I get when I score a goal is pure delight. When I die, I want to be burried in a hockey net, with a hockey stick in my cold, dead hands, just in case God has a pick-up game scheduled and The Rocket needs a left winger.
Or something like that....

I'll say a game I was actually at the arena at. Leafs-Sens last year, Leafs win in OT. It was amazing.

An older player (who is currently playing), but whose skills have eroded to the point where he should retire before the end of this season is ........................
