Poll Question:
Radulov hit Steve Bernier from behind and recieved a game misconduct. Do you think that hit was dirty enough to recieve a misconduct or should have just been a penalty?

I believe it should have been a game misconduct because not only was it from behind it was into the boards and Bernier also got checked out in the hospital.

Radulov hit Berniers head into the boards from behind at a good speed that definately deserves a game misconduct.

It was a game misconduct, that's why he got kicked out of the game. I think the more appropriate question is whether or not he deserves a suspension. Let me weigh in:

You're damn right he does. I was able to take my Sharks suit off when I evaluated Hartnell's hit so I will do the same for this one.

Bernier had his head down (dangerous thing to do, but when the puck's in your feet, there's not much else you can do), he was facing the boards and Radulov charged in at half to full speed, jumped 3 inches off the ice and put his shoulder square into Bernier's neck. Let's recap: It was a charge, a head shot (okay half a head shot), checking from behind AND Radulov left his feet. Given the fact that this was done at a decent speed, I objectively and honestly say that he should get 2-3 games. Like JR said, this is proof that there is no more respect in the game and frankly, Radulov had absolutely no reason to hit him, let alone in the way that he did. I wish Clowe would have made him a rink ad right there on the ice (I put the Sharks suit back on).

Yeah, there should be a suspension of some sort for that hit.

I think it should have recieved a game misconduct but it definatly does not deserve a suspension. To me it looked like he tried to hit his shoulder but instead hit back. It was a stupid play alltogether, but in my mind not suspension worthey.

When life gives you lemons throw them at the Ottawa Senators and their fans and hope it gets them in the eyes ;)

Well there we go, he got a one-game suspension. Better than nothing.
