Oh Yeah, I only have like 92,000 pts, 50 cards, but 50,000 coins I just got my biggest payoff i the scratcher...1000... I got the bonus coins often enough...And the Cheechoo video has to be the worst! I like some of the other ones better than these... Especially the Ovechkin vs. Vending Machine...Priceless LOL

HEY EVERYONE!!! Here's a point update (in case you can't see this in one of your groups).....
My name is benb79 on quest, I have 162475 points BUT I am far from even being in the top 50. Remember, only the top 25 get prizes (top guy gets that London trip, next 9 get a jersey autographed by a player of their choice which is amazing and the next 15 get nhl.com shop gift cards for 100$ US. Ya, I have too much time on my hands...
The #2 overall guy Canuck has 377825. Not sure about the # 1 guy.
#10 guy Kenguins has 329800.
#24 guy Franko has 315025.
#40 Jbizz has 298475.
#47 Agaeti has 296300
SO that should give you an idea of what you need to be in the top 50!!!

Well GOLEAF I only have about 62000, so its pretty much just for fun at this stage of the game. This is my first year watching hockey and Im actually learning alot from the site..so Im still happy.

Hey Haiwan/NuHockeyfan....that's cool that you're just getting into hockey. Anytime is better than no time. If you can, join an adult hockey league (for beginners) and you'll really see how fun it is.
But watching the NHL , especially playoff hockey is incredible. And the more you watch, the more you notice the little things that a lot of fans don't notice and you'll keep liking it more and more.
I'm doing this points thing for fun too. |

Well GOLEAF I dont know if I would ever play, I cant ice skate let alone hit a puck. I have alot of respect for the game because all the things the players have to be thinking about during the game. The nonstop action is incredible, I went to a couple Thrashers games and even went to a playoff game before they...well you know!!! I really love this game!!!!

Yeah I would agree, I love Cheechoo but these videos are much better. I think they were all pretty funny, especially the twins and the last one.
Does anyone know if its a good idea to buy cards if you already have the 50 that are out. I have heard people talking about getting coins in their card packs, but I havent seen anything like that.

The Cheechoo skit is top notch stuff and the Sedin twins is quite good, love the guys getting their wedding bands off, the one guy getting his chest hair exposed for the Sweedish twins - haha.
The Road Trip is also good, Rolston taking out the lamp hard in a game of knee hockey trying to make a save, classic!

HEY Haiwan/NuHockeyFan...well, if you ever want to, (I assume you live in the Atlanta area) there are many league with people that have never skated or played. It's just for fun. You'll pick it up in no time.
We can see the point totals because those people are in a group (which you have to be in). Otherwise you can't see the points.
If you have coins saved up, you can still use them to buy cards, even if you have all of them. The reason is you get more points for every card you get. Even if you already have that card. ##I was worried that I'd waste coins and when the new cards came out, I wouldn't get them. ...BUT you most likely will be able to trade for new ones anyways, especially if you have a lot of one card. |

I'm with go leafs on that one hawian Nu hockey is an amazing game to play and even though you won't be dangling right off the bat at least you can say that your trying...just learning to skate is a big respectable move guys...GO get em

Good idea GOLEAFS...I think it would be cool to play. I think I might check that out. I have only attempted to ice skate once and I actually did ok, it wasnt as hard as I thought.
You know I just have to say the hockey community is pretty sweet. Even though people are going for different teams they are still friendly with each other.
I just wanna say thanks to everyone for sharing codes, joining groups, and inviting people to join. Makes me respect the sport that much more.
