I agree that his salary is a little high but who are they going to get if they trade him. No team wnats him, so they will only get a worse goalie than him...

If your hinting at a Carolina deal here, your most likely wrong. Ward is the 'Canes man. He led them to their cup last year. They probably aren't to keen on the idea of losing such a fit, young, skillful goaltender for their first, one-season-wonder goaltender that was outplayed by their present goalie. I dont see the sens doing much with Gerber...Now, I think the sens need to get some guys to play with Fisher. I think this guy is amazing. If Ottawa could set up some deal giving them a second power line they could have an offence close to that of San Jose's.
Heatley, Alfreddson(sp), Spezza, Comrie, Fisher, Vermette, it's a pretty promising idea. |
