Just prior to puck drop, Erik Karlsson shared a few words (and a chuckle) with Dan O'Halloran, one of the referees in tonight's game seven matchup between the Senators and Rangers.
I'm curious what Karlsson had to say, but here are my top five guesses:
1. I've never played a game seven. Is it true you refs put your whistles away? 2. Did you see Alfie snap last game? You better keep an eye on him tonight! 3. With Brian Boyle out of the line-up for the Rangers, who do you think will go rat-a-tat-tat on my head tonight? 4. Now that I'm a Norris finalist, do you think the Rangers will give me a bit more respect? 5. You're from Ontario. We're from Ontario. 'Nuff said!
