I just saw it on Sportsnet that Ted Saskin got Fired any thoughts?

| NHLPA is not different than any other Union. Waste of time in my books. This whole thing was a joke with Saskin. He should have been fired a long time ago. |

I think back to the lockout year, and I was never a fan of Saskin. I hate unions at the best of times, but I really disliked him - more than Goodenow even. I always thought he was too smug for his own good.
I remember it was about January or February, and Bob McKenzie of TSN was talking about how at the end of this thing, somebody was going to take the fall hard, because there was going to be winners and losers due to how huge the whole battle had been.
As it turns out, Goodenow and Saskin are gone, and Bettman is more firmly entrenched than ever.
I guess Bettman won. Goog call, McKenzie.

It's still the golden rule. Those with the gold, make the rules. Bettman had the support of the owners. Of course he was coming out ahead.
I feel bad for who ever is hired now. Walking in the footsteps of Goodenow and Saskin will not be a fun job.
I Love your Kids, IHC is the man, and The Oilers Rule. Does that make me insane?? |
