why sign a guy like souray for a bundle and watch him never have an offensive production like this season's again and every forward in the league blow by him while he leaves our goalie hanging out to dry when you can sign a huge defensivly gifted defencman like scott hannan he is deffinely a better player all the way around then sheldon or even markov for that matter and will go for the same if not less in a contract. i say sign hannan long term offer markov a small raise if he doesn;t want it go after another free agent like sean o'donald? we have 28 million to throw around lets get to work and draw some big names to mtl...

Hannan would look good in Montreal. I say they have to sign Markov tho he got the puck out of the defensive zone the most. And Souray would just look better on another team.
