There have been numerous Juniors over the years that either were not drafted or never played in the NHL. I would consider any player that played less than 100 games to have not really played in the NHL.
One of my choices is Toronto's pick in the 1981 draft Ernie Godden 5' 08" and 160 lbs. He played Junior in Windsor and scored 87 goals in his last season. Is it possible he came along too soon, if he was playing today could he have been a star...

Dale Derkatch. Played three complete seasons with the Regina Pats, and put up these unreal numbers.

He had two things working against him. He was 5'6", and he was drafted by the Edmonton Oilers at the time where they were maturing into their dynasty. No way could he crack the roster (although they should have given him a shot - he never played one single game). |

There are tons... Some of the higher profile ones I can remember:
- Denis Shvidki
- Pavel Brendl
- Daniel Tkachuk
- Josh Holden
- Terry Ryan
- Pat Peake (although I think he played more than 100 games)
Few lesser profiled guys: Levielle, Scissons, Dore, Duncanson, Church, ...
