Wich are the most intimidating players ever? And by Intimidating I don´t mean look out for that guy he´s a psycho intimidating. What I´m looking for is players by just beeing on the ice draws energy from the other team and gives to his own.
I think Forsberg and Messier are such players. Determined, lots of heart, scary almost glowing eyes and the players on the other teams know there isn´t much they can do to stop them.
I was thinking of making a poll but I need some names first, any ideas?
(Time differance Pickuphockey-Sweden approx +9 hours 1min 5sek......so I can always blame it on Jetlag.)

Maurice Richard had the crazy eyes. Denis Potvin was about as intense as a player gets.

Howe and Messier in the early part of his career were known for their elbows.
Bobby Clarke instilled total fear into his competition. Mostly scared they wouldn't finish the game from a well delivered bone breaking slash.

Watching the movie ''The Rocket'' Maurice Richard looked crazy in his eyes.
But for rite now I have to say Dion Phaneuf he is an ugly man, and he just has that look that says'' I'm going to kill you!!! ''

Apparently, at the great series of '72, some members of team Canada claimed that vladislav Tretiak hypnotised players on breakaways. What Tretiak would do was he'd look a player in the eyes while the player was coming in (instead of looking at the puck...like is common, hahaha)....Or so the legend goes....Now that is intimidating!

How about a couple of goalies. Billy Smith and Ron Hextall made every single player on the other team think twice about going to the net. Plus, they were great goalies! |

I know he was probably not the most intimidating one but I believe we still have to mention Claude Lemieux that guy was nuts coming playoff time and I'm not necessarily referring to the Draper incident.
