Ya no guests is a good idea because if they're in they'll just leave like 1 month in the season

Actually I may end up having to pull out of this because I'm going to college next year and college freshmen are notoriously busy. I doubt I'll have a lot of free time to log on here, but that could change. My school starts 10 days before the season starts, so I'll let you know for sure around then. |

But I've heard college students say you actually have a lot of free time, so I might be able to check in a lot. I'm not saying I'm definitely not gonna be able to do the pool, just giving a heads up in case I end up being too busy. But believe me Stastny, I don't want to leave! |

Will it be a box type, or draft by round??
How many rounds??
How to determine first pick??
Will it be a snake draft?
How will the scoring work?
Just a couple of questions I can think of right now. Also, if we do a draft, please post the time with the proper time zone. I am in MST and I missed out on a couple of things thinking 8pm was 8pm.

| Would this be a draft or straight pool. I would hope for 10 player draft because I think it involves more knowledge. You do straight and everyone goes for practically half the All-Star game players. |

I can rock it if you all want. I will throw out these for ideas.
20 Player Teams
12 Forwards
6 Defense
2 Goalies
Points are awarded as follows:
Forwards/Defense-1 point goal, 1 point assist. 0.5 point (+), -0.5 (-)
Goalies 2 Points/win, 3 additional points/Shutout. -0.5 points for each goal against.
You must post the players you want by Thursday, September 27th by 11:59pm Pacific time. Each person is allowed one team and the team owner must be a registered member. Your first input will be your team, no substitutes or changes after your original post. So, I would suggest not posting until the latest possible time.
Trades- Each team will be able to replace any 2 players on their team at the all-star break. The player must be traded for any player as long as they are the same position. Your team must have the required amount of players at the end of trades. Trades must be in before the end of the actual allstar game.
How does that sound???

If we were to do a draft pool I think it would take way too long. Unless that is what everyone wants to do. It doesn't matter to me!

| I don't really like goalies in pools. They can make or break a team. I'd rather not have them or decrease it to 1 point per win and an additional 2 points(3) for a shutout. If everyone else likes having goalies then I guess I'll just roll with it but I would prefer none. |

I agree Kashmire, but losing 0.5 points for a goal allowed evens it out. So, it your goalie wins a game 5-4, they let in 4 goals, so their net points for the game is 0.
