Poll Question:
What do you think was the biggest surprise at the 2007 Draft in Columbus.

Choices:
Cherepanov falls to 17th
Esposito falls to 20th
Panthers acquire Vokuon
Leafs acquire Toskala and Bell
Jim Balsillie is again refused at an attempt to buy and NHL team

Great topic Leafsfan101. That being said, for me the biggest surprise was Cherapanov droping to the 17th pick. The New york rangers got a steal.

Cherepanov was surprising, but Esposito was the shocker. He fell to 20th?? He would've been my first or second pick! The Penguins got a steal too.

No he was born in Nigeria but he moved to Canada and when he did he wanted to play soccer but he decided to play Canada's sport hockey.

I think that the biggest surprise on draft day 07 was that Cherapanov dropped to the 17th pick. I was very surprised!
