Phoenix is leading Nashville 6-3 after one period. Nine goals in one period is probably not a record, but that's a lot of rubber seeing twine!

And all but one goal was scored even strength. Eight even strength goals in one period - is that a record?

I believe the record for most goals scored in one period is 12, but how about even strength goals?

I never even thought about that. Good point! These are two of the last teams you'd expect in a game like this!!!
