Poll Question:
Who will win game seven between the Pittsburgh Penguins and the New York Rangers?

I'm going with the Pens in what I think will be a relatively high scoring game (4-3?). |

My crystal ball shows a complete Pens meltdown. Rangers 6 - 2. Marty St. Louis with a banner night.

Rangers won, St. Louis got the assist on the game winner (although not really a banner night - so I'll take half a point there) But definitely not a blow out.
1.5 out of 3 ain't bad.

What a game last night. Hendrix Lundqvist was incredible! Especially during that flurry in the 3rd when he lost his stick. Brad Richards came up huge again as well. Another game winner, and he's now 7-0 lifetime in Game 7's. Gotta mention Brian Boyle as well, he had the game of his life last night! Scored a huge goal, created a lot of other offense, big blocked shots, strong in the defensive end, etc.
All that said, not sure how many more game 7's I can take! |

Not sure that's accurate Ryan? I read the following: Goalie Henrik Lundqvist made 35 saves to win his fifth straight Game 7, as the Rangers eliminated the Penguins in Pittsburgh, 2-1. Lundqvist entered the game with a 4-1 lifetime record in Game 7s with a 1.00 GAA and a .936 save percentage.
Still impressive, but not unbeaten?
BTW.....GO HABS! |

It was Brad Richards I was referring Alex, not Lundqvist. Both records are impressive though. Should be a great series against the Habs! |

Ah, my bad. Misread that in my midweek drunkeness (was busy out celebrating the Habs win!). NYR / Mtl will be good. Not sure how this one will go but will be pulling for the Habs for sure! |
