I initially was opposed to the shootout and even though I have come to enjoy watching them they are occurring at an alarming rate.

If going to 3 on 3 for half the OT meant that we could remove the shoot out then I would be all for it. I'd rather a game was decided with more people on the ice; at least it would feel somewhat like a team win.
