I would never pick a canadian team for this (Well, maybe Edmonton)!!!!! When the Nucks were playing mediocre at the beginning of the year, the fans actually had the nerve to boo Luongo. So they're out. Toronto fans (for the most part) are a disgrace to the game...Leaf fans, we gotta stand by our team, not whine and bitch every time someone makes an error...Just ride the wave, and things will pay off. Calgary used to have to put a tarp over the top part of the arena, cause noone went to their games when they were struggling in the late/mid 90's till early 2000's. Hab's fans actually booed the great Patrick Roy out of the town.
Rangers fans are unreal!!!!! watching a Rangers home game is crazy, those fans are wild!!!!! The wings can't draw crowds any more (but that;'s more b/c of detroits poor economy)... But I have to go with either Blue Jacket fans or Wild fans. I was watching a Jackets game last year when the Jackets were awul, and they stil sold out, and the whole crowd was cheering loud for CBJ....And Wild fans...They sell out every night. They cheer hard (even with that trap!).... Back in the day Hawks fans were wild...The Chicago stadium was legendary...No louder building in the show ...it was nicknamed "The Madhouse on Madison"...that says it all.

When everything else is said and done, and all the micro-analysis from my friends like I Hate Crosby is finished, there is no other hockey town like Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Me...not a Leaf fan and not from Ontario, but the question is not "Which fans are the nicest" or "Who is the loudest". The question is "What city is the real hockey town?"
TO is the mecca of hockey. The city most eyes are on in the hockey world on Saturday (maybe not by choice, but I digress), the home of the holy grail itself (although not won), the HHOF, close to the actual birthplace of the game, Maple Leaf Gardens...I could go on.
When I sit alone at night (which is often, I might add), and I think of visiting a city to experience the game of hockey, the last friggin place I think of is Columbus. It's TO all the time.
IHC could play for the Leafs, and kids there would still buy his poster.
