Someone got a spanking today. One week after being put on waivers they sent him down to Albany. 7 million well spent! I wonder if he holds any ill will towards Elias?

What happens with his salary? Does he collect?

Its not Elias' fault that Mogilny is playing like crap. Funny to see him in the AHL though. I am pretty sure that he gets paid his full salary but it does not count against the Devils salary cap. He will be traded soon enough - no matter how underacheiving, he is still a talented player who could help a team contending for the cup.

If he isn't traded the league needs to include some sort of clause where players of his calibre be bought out after clearing waivers and then become unrestriced free agents.
