Hey guys. I had a good idea that I'd like to share. I think we should come up with the best variations for hockey pools we can think of, to make things more interesting.
I'll start.
In my pool, you get 1 monthly trade, and the pool continues until the player is not playing, be it in the season or playoffs. That means that Heatley, for example, can keep getting points until March!
It's not much, but it was easy to follow. The sky's the limit for what you guys can come up with!

How about an all goalie pool where you can only pick backups.
dumb, but they would be no clear winner.

Of course, you could have a situation like Ottawa where the "backup" is playing most games. |

Or (I'm sorry, this is way too easy, but I think I got here first. Unless somebody else has posted more concisely while I've been parenthesizing.) the Leafs, who play a back-up goalie every game.
The Oil WILL make the playoffs. |

| I like the Waivers idea, also have say a 20-man roster but you must have 2 scratches, or something along those lines. |

I'd like to say a pool where you can't keep the guy for more than a month. That would add a good twist. It's all about hot streaks then.
