I suggest that we as a group have mid season awards. We are about 12-15 games away from the 40 game mark in the season for most teams. I suggest that we get a panel of 10 regular pollers to nominate and then have an open vote on players for the following awards:
The Beans Award - The Best All Around Player in the NHL.
The Willus Award - The Best Defenseman in the NHL
The Andyhack Award - The Best Defensive Forward
The IHC Award - The Best Goalie in the NHL
The Nash/Alex Award - The Best Rookie in the NHL
The Fly Award - The player most overachieving this season
The Samsanov Award - The player most underachieving this season.
I suggest that if you are interest on being invovled, send me an e-mail. This is my topic, so it will not be 1st come/1st serve. It will be the posters I feel fit the bill.
Once we get the ten, I will then post who is on the panel and ask that everyone submits three players for each catagory. From there, we will select the 3 players to vote from and have an open poll to see who will win these awards.
Who's interested???

I was just goofing around throwing out names for the awards.
One the "Panel" chooses who the three nominees for each award are, it will be an open poll to all members and guests to see who the winner of each award will be.
I just want to restrict the number of people choosing the nominess or it will get out of control really fast.

Firstly, I think some of you might be taking this out of context. The award names are a spoof on people's names on here. They are not awards for people on here.
Secondly, these are the awards. Done. I am not adding or taking any away. Trust me, from going through the GOAT draft, among other things on here, too many things at the same time get really hard to deal with.
It's simple, the only thing you have to do is send me an e-mail if you want to be on the panel.

To get this thing moving before it is too late, here is what I want.
1) Anyone can be part of the panel.
2) Please copy and paste the form below into an E-MAIL and send it to me. To send an e-mail, click on my name beside any post I have made and you will see an option to e-mail me.
3) I will accept all e-mails up to 11:59pm (Mountain Standard Time) on Saturday, January 5th.
4) Sometime after the 5th, I will post polls for each of the awards with three nominees. I will select the nominees based on the e-mails you send me and the rank you give.
I will leave this forum open if you have any questions, but again, I can not stress enough, E-MAIL ME. I will not accept any posts on here with the ranks.

Now, are they for the current season at hand? Because I would assume so, but the question makes it sound more like in their entire NHL career. However long my chosen ones respective careers are.
