I'm with Axey on this one. Iginla--Crosby--Ovechkin--Heatly. At least at this point right now. |

Right now: 1. Iginla 2. Crosby 3. Ovechkin 4. Heatley
Feels weird to be putting Heatley on the bottom, but disregarding his injury right now, he just doesn't add quite as much as the other three to their respective teams.
I would love to see someone dig up stats on how well the team does without them in the line-up for comparison. |

I think if you look at the total package, you have to put it in this order.
1 – Iginla 2 – Heatley 3 – Crosby 4 – Ovechkin
I’ll qualify this by saying that I not only took into account the skill level of the player, which I think is equal across the board, but I also took into account things like grit, leadership, and making others around them better.
Does Huselius have the year he’s having without Iginla?

I never knew that Bill Cosby was a hockey player??? All those Jello Pudding Snacks must seriously improve skating ability.(Watch the spelling).
And Kovalchuk wasn't part of the original list, so let's try to stay tothe question asked.
Points does not mean the player is the best.
Wayne or Bobby?? How about both!!! |

Out of the players on the list Iginla is the best all around player, and the one I would choose to build a team around.
By the way Heatley scored 41 goals in Atlanta without Spezza...
Iginla Crosby Heatley Ovechkin

ANother stupid comment, cannot compare the 4. Again, a better question would be whose more valuable to his team? |

Your so right. Like, only a complete loser could be second in league scoring, or already have won a hart this early in his career. Crosby is a big bum, should be playing street hockey back in Quebec instead of in the NHL. Let me guess, your probably better right? Of course, how could i be so stupid. Crosby hates playing hockey i bet. Just skating out there like he doesn't care. He hates his life, no fun in hockey for him. Soon he will pull out the Brett Hull quote "I dont like hockey, i'm just good at it."
Right now, as of March 17-09,
Ovechkin/Crosby Iginla
Heatley.
Heatley is not in the same class as the other 3, sorry. He is not game to game consistent, not the leader the other 3 are, can't create his own chances like the other 3 can. He has a good shot, but he doesn't see the ice as well as the other 3. I actually think Spezza may be more important to the Sens than Heatley. With some of the plays he makes, most people could end up scoring off them. If they must give up one of the big three in Ottawa, should be Heatley.
I Promise I didn't give her the STD, I'm not a sharing person. |
