Alfredsson almost slipped into the points lead in the NHL tonight by registering seven against the Lightning. Does anyone think he can take it?

Alfredsson did slip into the points lead tonight, I think he's got as good a shot as anybody does with crosby being injured now.

Yeah - what do you mean, "almost"? lol He's there, in the lead!
I think he had visions of Sittler dancing in his head at one point in the night, but fell short . . . still a great night.
Tampa Bay, on the other hand, are exceeding all expectations as the worst team in the league right now . . . |

On one side, Vinnie ( my bad, I picked 1st overall in my pool) must have been smothered like peanut butter on a cracker, has not the where with all, to unleash himself from tight checking, well, a smart leader might look at what they do to their top point getter and do the same to the oppositions. How utterly embarassing it must be for the pasta coach tortallini tortaorella or who cares, pitiful, just pitiful. Alfredsson, with his points last night should not only lead the scoring but mvp the league. What a performance.............Reminder to self kick in butt if urge to pick Tampa players next year,How did they win a cup? |

Not sure what you mean by your first statement, but Sundin beats Alfredsson in PPG in both regular season, and playoffs...
