Wow, if it turns out true, I think it helps both team but neither. They basically traded two players each that are very similar. Difference being with Stillman. He has been involved in two of the past three Stanley Cup Champs.

Ottawa was more than likley looking for that in their dressing room. Not just being there, but a guy who has won in a couple of times.

Actually the trade was with Carolina...

This is a plus for Ottawa down the stretch, and into the playoffs.

It will be interesting if Ottawa can sign Commodore to a long term contract. Them Redden, a UFA may test the waters in the off season...

It's Carolina not Florida. Even though you probably just made a mistake I'd change it.
both Stillman and Commodore are FA after this year. I can't see Ottawa keeping both.
