How exactly do you measure this?
For example, Kabby got a perfect score in the skills competition. Yet, Markov got the most accurate on the one time drill. Game situation? I think Markov has a more useful asset.
Some players know where to put the puck on different goalies. Some, like Sakic, have the quick release. Some, like Kovalev, can thread a needle with the puck if given ample time. Some, like Phaneuf, can blast it and help create a tip-in or rebound goal, while others, like Shanahan, can go in on a shootout and score the same way nine times ouot of ten, as we have seen this year.
Each has its own pros and cons, and it really comes down to a game situation.
