Simple topic, lots to discuss. I want to know first of all people's opinions on underdogs, ie., if they cheer for them or not, and secondly, their underlying motives. I never really understood this penomenon clearly and am looking for some insight... Thanks

i unno i hate the clear cut winners you must admitt its much more fun to see a team come together play their hearts out and really connect then the team with all the superstars and all the odds on there side!! its human nature to try and beat the odds

I really like underdog teams, but only if I kind of liked the team before.
This year I am hoping for Washington to make the playoffs, and do well.
Also I was hoping Phoenix would get the 8th spot, but I don't think that will happen. Maybe another Edmonton run? |

| I would love to see Edmonton or Nucks or any underdog to win the Cup because it is so exciting watching them beat out the favorites and stuff like that. |
