Dearest Administrators,
I made a request for an avatar that I sent in about . . . 3 months ago.
I have received no answer, and it hasn't been added to the available list of avatars.
ADMINS - WHAT GIVES?
What do I have to do to warrant a response of any kind?

Hi Slozo, don't think I received it. Sorry about that. We will be doing a btach of avatars for the playoffs so everyone post the ones you want here. please. keep 'em clean please. No guarantees that you will get the ones you post. |

While we're on the subject of avatars is there any way that we could put our own avatars up. I know on other sites you can. I was wondering why we can't or don't here. I have a Ken Dryden avatar i would like to use.

SO sorry to bother you admin! I know that the deadline is Wednesday which is why thankfully I still have some time for the avatars! You graciously uploaded my king bob avatar but unfortunately it gets compressed and looks distorted when I tried it out.
If you would not mind, please could you just add this one also?

So here's the thing, admin: my picture is saved on my computer, but it isn't at any url or anything - it's an altered logo of sorts that I designed myself. 
On most forums anywhere, I would have the "attachment" option . . . but I haven't figured out a way to do that here. Either I haven't seen it, or it doesn't exist . . . even sending an email to the administrator doesn't have the option of adding on an attachment from what I can see. 
If an administrator emails ME, I could certainly answer with my attachment, so it would solve it that way . . .

I also feel team Canada's logo should be available. It would be my first choice (well, behind the Canadiens logo) if I didn't think that everyone would take it. As well, we should get a lot more of the classic ones, like Dryden's pose, Bobby Orr's goal, Cherry's hands in the air after too many men on the ice, Yzerman / Borque with the cup, Lafleur with his hair streaking in the background... A lot of the ones we have are great, but when you think at what is left out, it doesn't make much sense at least not to me...

Please note that we are in the process of adding 100 new avatars. They should be up Wednesday the 25th. We will be adding the ones requested here as well as many that were requested via email in the last 6 month.
We WILL NOT be taking any further custom avatar requests. Sorry but it is far too labour intensive.
Check back Wednesday afternoon for the new avatars. |
