Jaroslav Hlinka's days with the Avalanche are over.

The left wing, who spent the 2007-08 season with the Avs, has signed a two-year contract to play for Linkopings HC of the Swedish League.

Hlinka came to the Avs in 2007 after 13 seasons in European pro leagues. He was named the Czech League's top forward in 2006-07 and the Avs signed him to a one-year contract, believing he would be a solid addition.

But after a decent start, Hlinka's playing time decreased to the point where he was a frequent healthy scratch toward the end of the regular season and playoffs.

In 63 games for the Avs, Hlinka had eight goals and 28 points. Hlinka, 31, made $600,000 with the Avs.
