Huge game for Mats Sundin last night, but it still is not enough to get the Leafs a playoff spot. They sure have been on a tear lately going 6-2-2 in their last ten games. And where did J.S. Aubin come from?

yup! Too little too late. My boys let me down. What a record of late though. Something to build on maybe? It's possible to still make it but it would take ATL and TBay to both suck. One? Maybe. Both? Not likely.

I'm still not closing the lid on their casket... Tampa's next two games are against Carolina so two losses for TB isn't so unrealistic. Atlanta on the other hand has two games against the Caps and one against the Panthers and those could go either way. You just never know...

Gotta give them credit for going 8-0-2 with Aubin in net to make a very strong final dash to try to make it in, they lasted a lot longer than most expected and if it wasn't for Montreal doing as well, they might just have been able to make it.

I can't cheer for Ottawa or Montreal out of spite. The Oil don't stand a chance so I guess I'm hoping on the Calgary wagon. Make room.
