its a shame injuries have plagued him and really have prevented him from developing into the defenceman he could have been. I think he will be packaged with another player in some sort of trade in December when the trade winds really start blowing. Only hope they get something good in return. Hot rumours involving Kovulchuk, but don't think the leafs have enough to give in order to get him. |

Watch for it . . . as soon as he's put back in the line-up, he'll get traded within a week, if not days.
I really liked Coliacavo, but clearly he's not hustling enough to get into the line-up, and has certainly fallen out of favour with the coach. I have to trust Wilson in this case, as I see him doing a fine job with the youth right now.
Trading for some scoring help would be nice!

Good point him and White were in the line up tues in and if they are in the line up tonight probably a good sign that both of them are being auditioned for trades. |

I think Carlos could be a great player. I really enjoy watching him when he is playing healthy.
I feel he can be his own worst enemy at times, going for that big hit and him ending up on the wrong side and ending up hurt.
Ron Wilson made a good point about his conditioning. If he can maintain a high level of conditioning hopefully that will help him from getting unjured so much.
He shows good grit, but must pick and choose his opportunities a little better moving forward.
Hang in there Carlos. |
