1) Who Scored the goal that gave Doug Gilmour a resod-tying sixth assist in one game ?
2) In the late stages of game two against the Wings, and well on their way to a 2-0 deficit in the series,the Leafs showed some fight during a mini brawl that featured Doug Gilmour taking down Bob Probert and Bob Cole's famous call "and oh, we're going to have a donkeybrook here". Whihc other Leaf threw a series of sucker punches that started the fight, and who was his (deserving) target ?
3) After Borschevsky scores the goal to eliminate Detroit who's the guy going crazy with the water bottle on the bench ?
4) What Classic Rock song greeted the Maple Leafs before their first home playoff game in three years ?
5) Wendel Clarke famously beat Bob Probert in a pair of fights during a december game at the Gardens. Other than the fights, what else was notable about the game for Probert ?
6) Who was Pat Burns referring to when he made his infamous "I wouldn't know him if I ran over him with my truck" quip ?

I have answers for #1, #3, and #5 but honestly could not answer the others without cheating (and I didn't cheat)
#1 Dave Ellett
#3 Chris Broadhurst (who doesn't remember that game)
#5 Probert scored the last goal at MLG.

I know Ellett scored the sixth goal of that game and I believe it was against the stars
Now I am also pretty sure about Broadhurst because believe it or not I was lucky enough to be at that game in detroit. Still live that moment like it was yesterday and it cost me 500 to get in
Probert was I guess, I must have the wrong game in mind.
I will not cheat to get the right answer but I will get back to later after I put my kids to bed and have time to think.
I am so pathetic - last game at MLG was not until 99 - I may be wrong again but did Probert not just get out of jail for cocaine smuggling and it was his first game back.
I also cannot believe my other mistake - it was not Broadhurst but it was Brian Papineau, Broadhurst was the trainer - Papineau was the equipment manager.
You seriously got me on the other questions though! |

My brain cramp is letting up,
answer to #2 is easy - very cleary remember now Felix Potvin cracking Dino Ciccarelli several times. |
