It will be a long time, it's pretty serious. He took a puck right in his lower body and will be sidelined for an undetermined amount of time. The rumor I heard is that it's his undisclosed. I know the last time a guy hurt his lower body undisclosed, he missed the rest of the season. However, a different guy hurt his undisclosed and was back in a couple of games.
Seriously, there are a ton of websites that will give you the injury report for any team or player out there. CBS is the one I like the best. It seems to have the most info. Here is a link.

My the way, Kariya is listed as questionable for his next game with a foot injury.
