Since being a healthy scratch for 11 straight games Ian White has stood up and started to play hockey. He is by no means going to be an elite player in the NHL, but has shown that the move from defence to forward is paying off for him.
He is currently on a 6 game point streak and is tied for first on the team with a plus -5 rating. He is playing determined hockey, handles the puck well and can play at both ends.
I like the way he is playing as a forward and think that he has found a new position. IMO he is an average player and its good to see that Toronto is getting production from most players on the team. Exciting hockey right now and if Toskala starts to heat up, who knows....
At which position do you think White's stock is highest?

yea for sure man im glad to see he's doing well. and your right if toskala turns it up we got a team that everyone didn't see coming and its gonna shock alot of people. good for them
he's doing well. i think hes done alot better as a forward than on defence what is he on a 6 point streak now, maybe that mustache of his is lucky if so, even though it makes u look like a porn star Ian
I played against White way back in Peewee and the only reason he was a D man in my opinion is because he could score from just about anywhere with that slapper of his. He is a good hockey player with offensive abilities who will be good for many years. Probably best suited as a 3rd line player who can play the point on the PP.
I was really surprised he didnt play any games, he has more of a presence then basically their whole D. He is a huge offensive threat to other teams for a D man as well. Now he is heating up, keep him in the line up.
