Mike Green, he is a grat defenceman. he first off. CAN SCORE, score like a forward. which only really in the last few years, bryan mccabe and sheldon souray have been scoring like that. and i dont see much of this guy, but i mean when you can score like that and you can still play dence, o.k your still a good choice for team canada

Mike Green is a high-scoring, offensive minded defenceman, playing for a high-scoring offensive minded team. Burns is a solid, gritty, all-around excellent defenceman who plays for a solid, gritty, defensive team. I'll give my vote to Green for 2010, because he doesn't make a ton of defensive errors and ultimately goals count for all in the NHL. When the Lidstrom Era is finally over, he's my pick for top scoring defenceman in the NHL hands down.

As a side note, I'd pick Burns as the more likely candidate to be playing great hockey in 2015, as very few defencemen (Al MacInnis) have a scoring touch that ages well. The large majority of defencemen with that big point shot (Adrian Aucoin) hit a certain age, and lose that big blue-line threat, while Burns' solid 2-way puckmoving style should only improve with experience. Not saying Green is definitely going to burn out, but the odds are against him, especially as he takes a lot of punishment being such an offensive threat.

Great Defensive pairing for Canada down the road I'd say. Not in 2010 but after that.

Chicago Blackhawks GM

Jesus didn't tap.
