Word out of New Jersey is that Mogilny failed his physical at camp due his nagging hip injury and could give reason for the Devils to sideline him and his salry wouldn't count against the cap. Also, Malakhov hasn't shown up for camp yet - but I am pretty sure his salary will count against the cap unless he is moved.

I have heard that the Flames are eying Scott Gomez and Sutter has a deal in the works. Can anyone comment on this rumor?

Are you serious? No way! Scott Gomez is one of our Key-Players! There's no way that the Devils are giving him up...Hopefully... They can trade away Mogilny though, since he's a waste of money lol.
