Game three of the Western Conference final, the hawks go up 3 goals on the Red wings, then in the second the wings score 3 un answerd goals inside of 8 minutes including 2 only 2 minutes apart, Bulin finished the period in nets but in the third out came Cris Huet to take his place (anyone remember him) and Corey Crawford from Chateauguay Quebec (where i was born) was on the bench and Bulin out with what they called a lower body injury.... now it was clear from the firts period bulin was hurting he was having trouble moving side to side and looker very off his lateral game,,, and this is usually what makes him so effective is his abiltly to move from side to side with ease,, so here's my question,, if you're incharge of the hawks and bulin comes to you lika any great competiter will and says give me game 4 coach im ready, what do you do,, now if his backup was simply that a backup no question bulin gets the call,, but with a guy like Cris Huet who had a very good season, and has been one of the better goalies in the league since the lockout also earning 5.6 millon, do you not risk it for game 4 and give huet the call because if you let Bulin play and and the wings get a couple quick ones cuz he is hurt it may be to little to late in game five,,?? not to mention if i noticed Bulin's trouble moving latrally well im sure the wings have and they will get him moving,, and when i say trouble moving side to side i mean multiple times he stumbled and simply didn't even get over,,, this is not normal for bulin because i said earlier he is normaly about as agile as a goalie can be,, so in your mind who gets the call

Huet
or
Khabibulin

Simple: If I deem Khabibulin 100% healthy, he's in. Great job Huet, get ready in case we need you again. If Khabibulin is anything less than say . . . 95%, give or take a few percentage points, sorry - you're sitting, Huet - you're in.

why not go with huey flat out,, regardless what they say if bulin had a lower ody injury bad enough for 3 goals in 8 min and to leave the game i doubt 2 nights later he is any better than 70 % at best,,,, plus he didn't skate in practice,, i wouldn;t risk puttin him in and letting in a few softy's before you pull him and then you go down 3 - 1 to the red wings,,, i'd just got with huet,, in my mind its not even a step down in quality of goaltenders,,, i know some would say it is ,, i dont

I have a feeling you were right about Khabibulin's injury putting him below my 95% standard . . . because I really don't see Quennville sitting him if he was 100%. The majority of NHL coaches will ride the goaltender that got them into the third round no matter what (well, except for injuries), because obviously they must have been playing very well to get there.

I don't think it really matters..
Detroit is not gonna lose.
They don't make mistakes.
I wouldn't even classify the hawks as one of the top 5 teams in the NHL let alone one of the top two.

Iginla for 2010 team captain.
Flames for cup...eventually.
