Good old Bert will be out at least that long and as a Canucks fan - I have to say this Luongo trade is looking better every day. The Canucks basically traded a depreciating asset for a top 3 goaltender - and then signed him for 4 years! Krajicek looks like a player and a good replacement for Bryan Allen. Bravo Mr Nonis. I have always liked this trade and now even more so.

Not that Florida really had any choice in dealing Luongo but they could have gotten way more in exchange. I'm not even using my hindsight... they really should have been able to get a franchise player for Luongo as opposed to Bertuzzi and Auld and whoever else was in there.

He is out for another 4-8 weeks. Was supposed to start skating this week but I guess the back surgery didnt go so well. I wonder if he will ever play again? Back surgery is pretty serious.
He is killing me in my pool. I thought he would come and have a great year away from the history but i think now he is the history. I doubt he will be back this year and if he is i think he will just slowly fade away. Too bad alot of wasted potential.
