| What kinds of choices are these (other than Phaneuf). Where's Ovechkin, Campbell, Gauthier, Chara, Regehr... to name a couple that should be on the list. Unless you want to know the best hitter of the Smurfs...? |

Of those choices, I'd have to go with Phaneuf... tough call though, you have missed a few...
But the real reason I replied was to anser Mikhailova... Jarkko Ruutu? Come on!
I think you might have misread the question, it did not ask who the best diver in the league was. Or perhaps you read it as what checker takes the most stupid penalties, or which one will throw a dirty check then flash that stupid "I'm really a chicken-sh*t" smile at you?

jarko ruutu should definitely not be on there, i mean get serious mikhailova.
the best hitter is ovechkin and phaneuf, and obviously ovechkins brute physical strength and toughness are overlooked because of his goals and points. |
