*Cough* Giguere has faced more shots than all but Luongo and Brodeur*. *Cough* His save percentage is 5th in the league. *Cough* His GAA average in 3rd in the league. *Cough* Most wins in the league.*Cough* 3 loses in 32 games.*Cough* Has played more games than all but Bordeur. *Cough* How do Pronger and Niedermayer help him do that?? *Cough*
Defense+Great Goalie=Championships
(I'd like to see Anaheim with a Gerber or Legace do as well as they have) |

| Why isnt Christobal Huet on this list. Hes at the top in GAA and Save% and is one of the main reasons why the habs are one of the top teams in the league this year. My vote goes for Huet then Giguerre. |

Pardon me? I realize you posted that in late December, but come on! He's a leading candidate for the Hart Trophy, and is single handedly responsible for the Canucks being in first in their division; probably the toughest division in the league right now! |

Honestly the only two that stand out are Brodeur and Giguere. I am not sold on Miller being as good as everyone thinks. I think he has the luxury of playing on a very good team (as does Giguere I guess)
Having Raycroft up there is a joke.
Where is Luongo?

I said Brodeur, but i'm surprised how good Chris Mason has been playing, who knows maybe Vokoun will be the back-up by next year.

Brodeur and Huet! Cristobal doesn't get as much respect as he should. Brodeur will lead the Devils deep into the playoffs and I think Huet will be there with the Habs. I say New Jersey-Montreal in the Eastern Final, if they don't play each other before then.

Speaking of being sick of hearing about Crosby, I'm sick of hearing of Luongo as a Vezina candidate. The Canucks have a winning streak like 10 other teams including ST. LOUIS have had and all of a sudden he's the king of all goalies? Exactly the reason I also hate Kiprusoff.
As for the Hart trophy, that's a different story. It's supposed to go to the player most valuable TO HIS TEAM, and well it'd be easy to give it to him because he is the only player on that team. |

I'm a big Luongo fan but I've gotta say that Brodeur has been pretty amazing. I'll have to say Brodeur for this one.
