That's probably a good choice. Experience and leadership. But if some of the other veterans are on the team they may get the C, i.e Tkatchuk or Guerin

If they're looking for a young leader to take up the mantle then they could go with Dusty Brown.

Dougie Weight is also one of the old guards that will more than likely be there and would be a good choice for Cap.

Unless this the Master's Games, Chilios just can't keep up any more. The desire is there, but the body isn't.

I wouldn't take a spot away from a younger guy for Chilios when I know that Chilios won't help me win.

Sorry, it's the reality. We all get old.

Hmmm, to be honest, i haven't really looked at what the US roster might look like therefore it's tough for me to say who will be captain. Of those vet's you guys have mentioned, they'd all fit the bill, but i have a feeling they'll find a younger guy with leadership skills to take the reigns. Someone who'll likely be around for the next Olympics assuming NHLers are there?

A few that come to mind would be Parise, Kane, Kesler? Maybe a dman like Paul Martin? Another old guy not to rule out, Rafalski??? Dunno, not really sure what this team will do....

Langenbrunner good choice, I think the ``C`` will be on Chris Drury or Scott Gomez

I do agree that Chelios is just too old now, but I just wish my job would let me retire at 40. At by staying past that, i'd be considered crazy. :P

Oh wait, I have to work until i'm 65. lol
