Anderson, Messier, Gartner, Goulet, Gilmour, Lemieux, Gretzky, Bourque, Coffey, Fuhr!!!
The Canada Cup 87 team is basically missing Howe, Orr, Bobby Hull, and Richard and they are the greatest players to ever play.
That team was sick. I will never forget losing my voice in one scream when The Great One passed to Lemieux and he went high glove side to score the winner. If you don't love that, you don't love hockey!!!!

I'd say the 2005 world juinors Crosby,Bergeron,Carter,Richards,Phaneuf,Glass,Perry,Getzlaf

Crosby fan, that was a great Junior team.. maybe the best ever... but I don't think they compare to any of the other teams, simply because they are young, and Junior Gold just doesn't quite compare to Olympic or Canada/World cup gold.
And Beans, you nailed it! I think the whole country went hoarse with that goal. It certainly ranks, in my book, as one of the two greatest moments in Canadian hockey history. I was only 4 when "Henderson scores for Canada!" so I didn't get the implications of that goal, but looking back, I wish I had.
That 3 games '97 series was as exciting as any 3 games in hockey history. Remember in the final game, Canada was actuallly down 3-0 to the USSR before they came back and won it.
I could go on and on about that moment and that game for hours. |

HAH dont kid yourself theres noway a world junior team could beat the team of 2002.
Sakic,Lemeiux,Iginla,Shanahan,Yzerman etc.
