Im torn between Jokinen and Datsyuk. Jokinen has a simple, effective move that works every time and no one knows how that simple of a shot works so well. Sometimes he decides to mix it up and do the Zhamnov/Forsberg, just to keep goalies fearful. But I think Datsyuk has the nicest moves. I love the Datsyukian deke and the other one where he drags it back is just mind-boggling to me. He makes it look so easy and well I've tried it and it's so hard to do as smoothly as he does. Any time Detroit plays, I hope that they go into a shootout so I can see Datsyuk in it.
Getzlaf uses the same move where he drags the puck back with his stick, but he can't do the skate-drag part, which to me makes the move what it is. |

Jarkko Ruutu had a pretty sweet move last year. Given that he is pretty much a checker - I was impressed by it. |

It was pretty nice. He pulled the same move like 5 times in a row last year. I dont think he gets to shoot in Pittsburgh. Actually - I have not heard his name mentioned once this season. Is he even playing? |

Datsyuk scored some nice ones last season too. The Wild are the best team in shootouts - no question.

Oh come on that Jarkko Ruutu move is used by 50% of people in the shootout (minus the little fairy leg kick). A simple fake shot and go to the backhand is definitely the lamest shootout move ever and I can't believe some goalies still get faked out by it. Some guys like Viktor Kozlov and Saku Koivu have been smart enough to make the extra move and go back to the forehand, virtually impossible to stop if done correctly. |

Rolston also isn't a bad choice he has some ok moves a great slapshot and a pretty good wrist shot.....he can beat you in a couple of ways
I voted for Mikko Koivu. Datsyuk close second |

WOW
Rolston pulled off the slapshot against Kiprusoff last night too. That's amazing: Once against Luongo and once against Kiprusoff. He just needs to pull it off against Henrik Lundqvist, who is 22/22 in shootouts and I say he's got the trifecta. |

I have to say Mikko Koivu, he is unbelivable if he goes to his back hand and your the goalie and you have already commited to the forehand deke well the puck will be in the net. |

I wish like crap that Sweden-Finland gold medal game was a shoot-out. Then Sweden wouldn't have won. (I'm a huge Finland fan)
I said Saku Koivu BTW |

for shootout "moves" i'd say Datsyuk but best at scoring them Jussi Jokinen. |

Datsyuk always puts on a great show but Jokinen scores more on his chances.

I think ovechkin's very good at shootouts, he just knows how to fool a goalie and he hardly ever does the same move twice.

Yet he's still 2/12.
1CF, you could have just spelled it Datsyukian. |

How about Malik? Brendan Morrison pretty good but doesnt have the flash the others do, Zubovs not bad and Jokinan is crazy, but Ruutu is sick as hell.

Well he better get to a doctor then Hahaha
Malik's not bad (remember this goal? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x81F_XnuQpU&NR), but Jokinen's gotta be the best. Either Zubov or Datsyuk would be next. |

Got to be Malik....Got to be...The goal was one thing..His response was just as entertaining...That goal is by far my favorite play post-lockout...That guy had some balls to pull that.
