Poll Question:
Colorado is 4 points behind the 8th spot. Will they make it?
I think the way that they are playing, and the way Calgary is playing, I think that they have a shot at it.

Did you know that they have always been in the playoffs since they moved to Denver

Im not sure if they will, It will be a tight race for sure but they also have 2 games against Calgay and those are probably going to be the reason if they make it or don't, They do have a very good chance considering how hot some of there players are like Stastny,Hejduk and others.

I will be rooting for them until the end because it means that Calgary goes bye bye. And when Calgary goes bye bye, Stefan =

I never liked you babs.

Well it is going to be a tough next couple games for Calgary for sure. Calgary plays Detroit and Nashville, while Colorado plays Edmonton back to back. I've got faith in my boys though!!! Statisically they could still take first in the northwest...well it could happen...maybe...kinda.

Calgary is reminding me of a certain Vancouver team from last year. A solid first two thirds followed my a mess of losses down the stretch. I would have thought 8 games ago that Colorado should be dusting off their golf clubs and preparing for an extended summer. Now, I think Calgary is the team that will be golfing early. Calgary just can't seem to get themselves together on the road. Not one playoff team has a road record of .500 or below. Calgary has managed to lose 25 of its 34 road games this season at 9-18-7. That is unacceptable and I think we will see them fall short as a result. On top of that, now that Calgary has lost a whole whack of games against teams below them in the standings, they are just getting ready to face off against a pile of teams much better than them. It is going to go from bad to worse very quickly. I say kudos to Sakic, Hejduk, and Stastny for turning it on when it matters most

Thanks TCT. Well one down and 10 to go! Calgary beat Detroit last night. They play Colorado 2 more times, Minnesota 2 more times, Vancouver once, and Edmonton once. Some big points up for grabs!

I sure hope Calgary loses. Just thinking about Flames flags hanging out of car windows and hearing bunk about "The Red Mile" makes me throw up in my mouth a little.

Go Colorado!

Calgary's last four games:

Colorado
SJ
Edmonton
Colorado

It will probably come down to these games, especially those against Colorado to determine that 8th spot. I would love for the Sharks to boot them out, kinda like Vancouver-style from last year.

I hope only 1 point seperates them with 1 game to go and that final game will be against each other (of course Colorado winning ) that would be so intense!

And those 4 games are in 6 days!!! April 3, 5, 7, 8...that last game is the make-up game from the Denver blizzard that cancelled their game earlier in the year....who knew it would possibly mean the playoffs for one team?
