What team has the most first round picks in its regular line up?

The Oilers have 9
Brule, Cogliano, Dubnyk, Eberle, Gagner, Hall, Hemsky, Paajarvi & Smid.

How many do the wings have, like 2 maybe. Do they even have any?

DET doesn't need first round picks - they get all their good players way later on:

- Holmstrom - 257th in 1994
- Zetterberg - 210th in 1999
- Datsyuk - 171st in 1998
- Franzen - 97th in 2004
- Filpula - 95th in 2002
- Lidstrom - 53rd, 1989

The only notable first round pick from the last decade currently in their roster is Niklas Kronwall (29th overall in 2000). That is pretty amazing.

Exactly, they built their cup teams on drafting, but unlike Pittsburgh and Chicago, they did on clutch late rounders.

There was once a license plate in Toronto that abbreviated "Go Leafs" it read "Golfs".

There's a better question Duke... Who's got the most Leafs first rounders on their roster?
